We are going to meet you with an artist who is not good at drawing draws portraits of people’s dogs in response to donations and have so far collected more than $1000 up in half a month for my nearby Homelessness Charity.
It’s completely occurred so naturally without a lot of thought or efforts. Barely fourteen days prior, I was making some notes to say thanks with my kid. While he was making his card, I just drew several photos of our canine—they were truly trash, I’m not an artist and have never truly drawn in my life.

For fun, I shared the two pictures to my Facebook page with a jokey remarks about dog Portraits being available to be purchased for just £299. A friend of mine requesting me to draw her dog, and than another one asked to draw his dog and before the day’s over, I had most likely drawn around five pictures and we’d all had a chuckle simultaneously.
After posting 3 to 4 pics, I began getting demands from individuals I didn’t know requesting pictures. That is the point at which I set up the Facebook page Pet Portraits By Hercule and the JustGiving page which is fund-raising for my neighborhood charity, I was having a good time drawing the photos, individuals appeared to appreciate giggling at them, and on the off chance that we could make a cycle of cash for a noble cause —fantastic!

At start my dream was to attempt to raise £299 (around $388), which was the value I had at first provided as the cost estimate for my pictures. Under about fourteen days after the fact, and we have raised barely short of £1000 (around $1299), the page has almost 700 likes, and I’ve been welcome to show at a display! I presently have 70 or so demands for pictures, however more is always better!

I draw portraits free of cost. All I’m requesting is to make people contribute in this noble cause by donating to the charity according to their position—I’ve got donations from £2-£50!

The lone thing I ask is that except if individuals are glad to donate without anticipating a portrait, they hold off until I have done their pic. Else I’ll wind up in a circumstance where individuals may donate without really getting an image
