I love languages and I really like funny words and phrases.

But as a Norwegian, I sometimes find myself saying these strange things when I speak English because my brain translates the words directly. This causes some English speakers to baffle their heads – “What on earth is an ice bear? Or a squirt of ink? And why do I eat a lard ring?

So I created this Instagram account where I translate words from Norwegian to English in a bad way. I’m also adding a graphic so people can understand what it is.

I hope people will like it, maybe laugh a little, I hope you guys come up with words from your own language that might sound weird to non-native speakers.

Hope you enjoy these silly words translations.
