Death takes us away in mysterious ways. And while we cannot know for sure when or how we will leave this world, the truth itself is that we must come to terms with it. To explore the possibilities of the afterlife, artist Jenny Jenya has created some sad comedies, which are really touching as well.

One is about a good boy who died much sooner than you’d expect, and the other sad story is about an equally good lady whose black fur prevented many people from recognizing her.

While this cartoon deals with a difficult subject, Jenny has found a way to present death as something hopeful, not devastating. And who knows, maybe not as bad as we imagine?

There are dozens of posters and charts with different statistics about animals that have been abused or neglected. Many know the problems, but this information is quickly forgotten,” Jenny told Bored Panda. “I try to give a voice to the victims with my sad drawings. I want affected pets to be able to tell their own stories. I hope I can raise awareness in this way.”

The artist said that she could not decide whether death was just a state or the beginning of a new adventure: “Who knows. I’m not the one who answered that. But I like to imagine death as someone doing their job. People hate them for what they do, but in the end, on Someone would do that. I like to imagine death to be a kind and all-seeing being.

“For all I know, we could be part of the biggest MMORPG in the whole universe, but there’s no way of knowing it,” Jenny concluded. “Now go and hug your pet!”

People started relating to the first strip by sharing pictures of their black kitties
